Day two hundred and ninety eight

Oh today. Today was nice. I and another friend pulled off a surprise graduation party for a special lady. She was so surprised!! It was great fun! 

Work dragged on and on. I’ve been setting my desk up so I can stand lately. It is not the most sophisticated set up (just a box and stacked up books) but it feels good to stand for part of the day rather than sit for all of it. Sitting all day is not good for the body or the mind for that matter. Its unnatural. 

My knee is feeling a bit better today. I want to go to Bikram tomorrow but I wonder if I should give it a rest. I just did some yoga in the evening at home today. I know that my leg and knee will be better soon and I’ll be stronger than before…but its frustrating waiting to feel better and not knowing if it will hurt in the morning. 

I need to finalize some wedding decisions. Not major ones, but several smaller ones that add up to something big.

So much is going on it can be hard to fit in even a little bit of home yoga, its only going to get busier, so I only need to stay committed and fit it in, make it important because it is.

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
