I love cobra pose!

It’s such a wonderful and satisfying pose. And in class today I got an ‘Emily that’s gorgeous’.
So that was a positive start to this days entry. I wanted to start like this…Waaaaaaaaaaah!
My knee is still on the fritz and bothering me. I am trying to have a good attitude and know that it’ll get better but it’s hard. I entered class knowing I would have to take it super easy but when I got to triangle and realized that it would be unwise to attempt it I started to feel upset. I felt that hot burning crying feeling in my throat so I decided to lie in savasana and breath and not cry about a silly sore knee. Besides that Bikram felt very good. My back needed some movement.
I had been feeling so strong and good that I am still sort of surprised that this knee thing is still happening.
Home yoga and acupuncture with a walk to work in between is my plan tomorrow.

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
