I had to be responsible today and take care of my knee. This was accomplished by getting some acupuncture and not going to Bikram. It’s feeling better this evening but I should probably take it easy tomorrow and go for some home yoga rather than attempt a class and make it hurt all over again. It is not easy for me to not go to my regular classes…but sometimes it’s necessary to rest. This is not the time to ignore pain and let things get worse. I have so much to do there’s no time for injuries!
The good thing is that yoga can be done anywhere in anyway even if parts are hurting. I had a nice practice this evening, a good half an hour.
It’s a chilly May.

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
