So this is a big blog day!
First off…I finished reading Hell Bent! By Benjamin Lorr. Turns out he has a website. http://www.benjaminlorr.net
I thoroughly enjoyed it and may someday read it again. I think what I take away is to be true to yourself and love your yoga.
Next topic!

20130506-210720.jpg Yam fries! They may be better than the fries they are based on that come from a favorite restaurant!
1. Cut and soak the wedges for a couple hours or more
2. Heat up a couple of tablespoons of coconut oil on medium high
3. Shake damp wedges in a bag with corn startch
4. Place in hot oil and flip, takes about 15 minutes
5. Sprinkle with a little salt and garlic powder
I tried mine with yummy Annie’s Green Goddess dressing. Yum!

Oh I almost forgot!
I went to a lovely deep stretch. We really got into the hips and hamstrings. I think it helped my balled up hamstring situation. I was oh so relaxed after.

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
