Day one hundred and ninety nine

Finally! A Bikram class that felt good for at least most of the time. I seem to have pulled through a phase of bad classes. I even got a ‘good’ while in triangle which has never happened and I always wanted it to!
My shoulder has been bothering me lately. It felt good throughout the standing series but first time up in cobra it hurt! So I had to back off a little. But still finished well.
I’ve really been trying to not think during class. This is hard! It will take lots of practice. Not thinking for 90 minutes sounds so appealing but it is oh so difficult. The problem is that when you realize you’re doing it and not thinking that realization is a thought and then more poor in after… It’s a practice. Remember that…if anything.

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
