Day one hundred and sixty three

Boy oh boy! I did not want to do stooopid yoga this evening. It was getting late and we had been wedding planning and my lovable fiancé didn’t want to leave the living room and the other rooms are really too small and I wanted privacy and blah blah blah blah blah… I calmed down enough to start and then it was nice. My wrist is still sore so I had to avoid putting pressure on it and bending it too much. I did three rounds of half tortoise pose, it’s supposed to be both relaxing and energizing. It did help me relax.
It seems to me that I haven’t been getting to the studio as often and that makes me feel like I haven’t been doing yoga even though I fit it in at home. The point of this is not to feel pressured into having to go to yoga at a studio every day but to find time to make my own practice.
I have to share this food photo…it was just so yum.

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
