I successfully did bird of paradise on both sides today in hot flow! Up until today I could sometimes do it ok on one side (I think my right) but couldn’t really hold on to the left… But I did today! The problem was that I could not quite bind on one side so then I couldn’t stand up. It’s a funny pose and super tricky to balance! It’s also very fun so I’m excited that I was able to do it. I definitely have room for improvement. But for now I’ll be excited! Hot flow was extra juicy, or humid. I was quite tired.

Bird of Paradise Pose is also known as Svarga Dvidasana.
I would consider this to be an advanced pose. It requires open hips which are just hard to come by, balance and patience. It is so fun and worth working towards!
