Right now I am really into mountain pose or tadasana.
It looks like this. This pose is used in Bikram’s standing series between postures. Lately at home I’ve been starting with it, I like to practice it for at least several breaths if not more. It’s a pose you can do throughout the day, like while standing in line to get a coffee, or waiting at the copier for…well a copy. Its also fun to say TADASANA! I was shoveling this morning and thinking maybe it’s kinda like yoga, it’s a bit meditative, and as long as you’re breathing and not focusing on random thoughts and engaging the core I think it’s like yoga.
Nordic skiing is great fun too but not quite yoga like especially when there is fresh snow and fun little hills!
