Bikram was really hard today. I convinced myself to go at least to thaw out a bit. It was a good class but became more and more tired as it went on. I was exhausted by the end. It’s funny how now, hours later, I feel energized, stretched out and all thawed out! I also learned about a new book I’ll have to check out. The teacher referenced it a few times. Apparently there have been a bunch of scientific studies having to do with hot yoga and Bikram in particular. The book is called: Hell-Bent: Obsession, Pain, and the Search for Something Like Transcendence in Bikram Yoga by, Benjamin Lore

So I’ll have to buy this one but have yet to finish the other book, The Science of Yoga.

I constructed this holiday wreath today for some holiday cheer!

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
