Day one hundred and eleven

one-eleven!
Just a little yoga in the hotel room after hitting the tiny gym’s elliptical.
I’m fresh out of words for the blog… I suggest YouTube-ing Shit Yogis Say…I’ll look for a link, maybe I can post it directly. Funny shit.

In the meantime what does Namaste mean? It’s good to have an understanding if you’re going to say it at the end of class after the teacher says it… Let’s look it up shall we.
Wikipedia says… Basically it’s a greeting and farewell used in India that is accompanied by a slight bow with the hands in prayer at the heart’s center when addressing one person.
Wikipedia has some good insight, check it.

The definition that I have heard is something like this…the light in me recognizes the light in you.
I think it’s an acknowledgement from one to another that we are all one in the same and to be respectful of one another…do that’s nice.

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
