Day one hundred and two

Oh election night. I did a home practice this evening so I could go watch the results roll in with my family while drinking wine and eating bacon wrapped dates and smoked salmon.

This was the setting…

But not as dark, the photo makes it look crazy dark!

I had a game plan for my home practice today where as I normally just do whatever.
I did the entire Bikram series. Only one set each. It took about 40 minutes. It felt good. I wore warm cloths and turned the heat up a little. I could not get nearly as deep in the poses as in class but that’s ok. It was hard to balance with no mirror in the dimly lit room. I remembered the entire sequence, no problem. I plan to do it again.

I took a photo with my phone and it turned out rather scary…would have been better for holloween…oh well.

Yikes!
This one is better but a funky angle.

I’ll keep working at the self portraits…promise!

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
