I shook things up to day and went to an hour hot flow at lunch today. My sister and the teacher made me laugh and I fell right down while attempting bird of paradise….pretty funny. Someday I’ll get it! It was a challenging hour and my abs were hurting later at work. It gave me quite a burst of energy that has lasted until now but hopefully not for much longer because it’s nearly bedtime.
It’s time to bring back pose of the day.
Half Tortoise Pose
Tortoise is great for tense necks and shoulders.
It also increases blood flow to the brain, which enhances memory and mental clarity.
This posture also stretches the lower part of the lungs, which is therapeutic for asthma, and counter indigestion, flatulence, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome.
