Sometimes in class I have these thoughts that I think are funny or clever or perhaps even profound…I like to think so anyway. I have these thoughts and then think oh that would be good in my blog! This often happens throughout class and then it ends and I’m too wrung out to remember how witty and profound I was being. This evening was no exception. Those thoughts came and went and are now gone.
Luckily I have something else to share from class. I asked my mom why do we always lay in savasana with our feet to the back of the room? It seems easier to go the other way. She said it’s because it’s rude to show the teacher your feet, it’s disrespectful. I was like no way! It’s just to get us spinning around all the time. So she asked the teacher and turns out she was right. The moral of the story is that moms are right, maybe even always.
One more thing. No matter how wrung out, like a squeezed dry sponge, you feel after class make sure you save just enough energy to make it home safely. It’s just exhausting going to Bikram at 8:15 pm and not getting home till after 10!
This was last night downtown. The city is ready for winter.
