That right there is why I didn’t go to the studio for yoga today. BLUE SKY! It’s been awhile. Instead I went for a long walk with my fiancé.

I have just now finished some at home yoga. I will say it was short because I suddenly became very hungry! My actual dinner was quite small… I am making some bacon. Bacon and Bikram have both become staples to my life. I feel this is a good thing.

I’ll get to the pose of the day now…

Triangle Pose
Trikanasana

Triangle! The top of the mountain as they say.
Benefits :
It improves every single bone, muscle, joint, tendon and internal organ, and it revitalizes nerves, veins and tissues.

Flexing and strengthening the last five vertebrae in this posture can alleviate crooked spines, as well as rheumatism and lower back pain.

Triangle Pose also benefits the heart and lungs, forcing them to work together.

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
