Deep stretch always sounds like a good idea to me but today it turned out not to be. I’m not sure why, there was no moment of oh no you’ve gone too far! But apparently I did…
I’ve had low back pain problems before but not in a while. It surprised me because I’ve been feeling so good and strong.
But the spasms started and I could barley move for the rest of class. I tried to relax and not burst into tears right there in the studio, I mostly held it together. It still hurts 8 hours later…
I thought I was doing everything right but this still happened. Just be careful out there…

I have challenged myself to do yoga everyday for one year and thought I'd blog about it. I have been practicing yoga on and off and back and forth for about 9 years and I have decided that it is time for me to really delve in and figure out what it's all about, if it is something I want to make part of my life. I also thought this might put some discipline in to my day and be a fun way to express my thoughts and share some pictures that may or may not have anything directly to do with yoga.
